For the next few weeks we will be not be learning new sounds as we are reviewing and practicing all the sounds and tricky words that have been taught.

Just a reminder that PE is every Wednesday and Friday. Children are expected to come to school wearing their PE Kit. Please can you remove or tape any earrings.

Reading
Children have now been given their Reading Records and reading books.
We encourage you to read with your child every day and record that you have done this.
If there are any sounds within the books that your child is struggling with, please note this down for us.
BOOKS WILL BE CHANGED EVERY WEDNESDAY
Please ensure that your child has their bookbag with them every day.

This week we will continue to develop or relationships with one another, focusing on our VALUE OF THE TERM, LOVE and FRIENDSHIP.
We will be joining the rest of KS1 at Playtimes having already practiced the rules and routines of this as a year group.
The children will also be staying for lunch this week and getting acclimatised to the hall.
Please ensure you provide a packed lunch every day this week (11/09/23-15/09/23)
First Week of School Completed!
Week One
The children have done a fantastic job at settling into their new classes this week.
Everyone has worked really hard at getting to grips with new routines and behavioural expectations. We have already seen some brilliant listening, sitting, manners and kindness towards others.
Well done Butterflies and Dragonflies!
Please ensure that your child has a spare uniform/pants/socks left at school at all times in case of any accidents or over zealous messy play!
