Special Educational Needs
St Mary’s Wavendon serves children of all abilities. We aim to challenge and support the able child as well as those experiencing difficulties. Specific needs will be addressed when necessary and extra support is given to children with SEN as well as target groups of children who need extra support in certain areas. All parents are involved in their child’s learning. Parents of children with SEN will have regular meetings to review their child’s progress/changing needs. It is important that we work together to support your child.

SEND Local Offer - Milton Keynes Council Milton Keynes' vision for children and young people with special educational needs and disability is the same as for all children and young people - that they achieve their full potential in early years, at school, at college, at home and out and about in the community to enable them to lead happy and fulfilled lives within a safe environment and where they have choice and control. https://www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/schools-and-lifelong-learning/send-local-offer
EHCP provision and risk assessment documents The Inclusion and Intervention Team have been working with school to identify the provision in place for pupils with an EHCP. The DfE has placed a duty on LAs to ensure that parents/carers can access this information. In order to support with this process, an explanation and request link has been added to the MK Local Offer. |
